To create a circular economy, we ensure that all furniture is available at low cost eg. chest of drawers for a recommended donation of £5, double bed for £10 and household electricals for £2. We are donation based protecting your pocket, while protecting our planet.

As a sustainability charity we encourage our members to make second-hand their first choice. With our low-cost second-hand furniture, why not buy wooden second-hand furniture, and upcycle it to your taste, rather than buying new?

Fast-fashions are creating a huge influx in greenhouse gas emissions. Furniture is made cheaply to only withstand the current fashion trends to then be destined for landfill once considered outdated. We are actively moving people away from this mindset and asking them to see the potential in second-hand. This saves money, promotes good quality furniture and teaches new skills through DIY repairs and upcycling.

To remove any barrier’s to shopping second-hand we offer a free delivery service for large items of furniture purchased from our furniture store every Wednesday morning. In turn, we can collect furniture from your home for free. We operate out of a 15 mile radius from our shop and can deliver to the ground floor. Please email LethamClimateChallenge@gmail.com to schedule a collection.
